先行詞是不定代詞anything, everything, nothing,few, all, none, little, some代詞時。
由every, any, all, some, no, little, few, much等修飾時也用that。
someone指人時，后面可以用who。
例：who has a sense of duty won”t do such a thing.
有責任感的人是不會做這種事的。
that的用法
1、that用作指示代詞的意思是“那，那個”。可指前面提到的那件事，也可指在空間或時間上較另一事物遠的事物或人，還可指要表明的或要提及的事物、想法等。
2、that用作關系代詞時，指人或事物，同時又在從句中充當句子成分。that偶爾也可引導非限制性定語從句。
3、that還常用以代替who, whom, which，但that。which中的that用做關系代詞的先行詞。
4、that用作關系代詞時在下列情況下可以省略：
①引導限制性定語從句在從句中用作賓語時。
②用在there be結構前作主語時。
③用作表語時。
④在定語從句與先行詞之間有插入語時。
⑤在先行詞way, reason, distance, place, office等作方式狀語、原因狀語或地點狀語時。
5、that用作連詞時可引導主語從句、賓語從句、表語從句、同位語從句和狀語從句。
6、that還常引導間接引語或形容詞后面的從句。
7、that在以it作形式主語的句子中或引導賓語從句、狀語從句時常可省略。
8、that也可用于表示愿望或遺憾。
