It's cool:cool (可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard. That's cool;he is cool;this is cool. Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳傘或沖浪運動很不錯) 主詞可用任何人稱的單復數 (I, we, they 等),動詞可用 verb to be 的任何時態 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
She (He) was cool in the past. That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的運動衫) He (she) is a cool person.(文雅禮貌的人) 但是如果說:Are you cool? She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭維語,是說她很 calm and charming; not emotional.
Are you trippin'?:trippin' 這個字,是由動詞 trip 演變而來。
這個字是現在分詞當形容詞用,是指行為異乎尋常,也許受到吸毒或喝酒的影響,而顯得神魂顛倒、奇形怪狀(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是說:要不是受到藥、酒的影響,你為什 顯得這樣古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?) They are trippin'. (= tripping) She (he) is trippin'. Mr. A must be trippin'. 3. He is a nerd:nerd
(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.) (IQ = Intelligence Quotient ; EQ = Emotional Quotient) nerd 可用復數,動詞也能用其他時態。
He used to be a nerd in high school. (過去他在高中時是位書呆子) Many Chinese students are(或 have been)considered nerds. He is a computer geek. I don't like him because he is a jerk. Many jerks are working in our company. They are jerks; He was a jerk in the past; Mr. A has been jerk for years.
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找話題,想要「打開話匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果說: Yo baby, are you trippin'?
May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before. Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年輕黑人打招呼的用語 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帥哥,你是去看電影嗎?) 5. Catch you later!
(a form to say“good鄉bye”) 也就是說:現在沒有時間與你交談,以后再談吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 后面,也可用其他人稱代名詞(him, her, them 等) 有時年輕小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again.

A: Wow, you fixed my computer in less than 10 minutes. You're good. A: 哇! B: Yep. I just kick ass. 當「踢屁股」時, 比如某人放你鴿子, 你很氣, 就可以說: "I'm going to kick his ass."
Hahaha。I kicked your ass."。
A: Mary, I'm sorry for cheating on you before. Do you see any chance that we can get back together?
B: I don't know, but you can kiss my ass.
XYZ. "XYZ" 是 "Check your zipper."
Y 是 Your, Z 就是 Zipper 啰! 4. Hit the road. A: Do you want to come in for some tea? B: No. I'm running late. I really need to hit the road.
"Hit the road" 的 "hit" 有「去」的意思。
好比某人每周去健身房三次, 你就可以說 "He hits the gym three times a week."。 "I really need to hit the road." I really need to get going."。
A: I don't know what is going on lately. Jack seems to curse a lot these days.
B: Well, that's just what you get from hanging out with the wrong crowd.
I really like talking to her. I think we two really click.
A: Guess what? We've just now missed the bus, and the next one won't come for another 45 minutes. A: 知道嗎?
B: That sucks. "That movie sucks."
8. catch some Zs 小睡一下 A: Excuse me. I have to catch some Zs. A: 抱歉! B: I thought you just woke up. Sleepy head.
I have to catch some Zs." I have to take a nap." 或 "I need to snooze."。
9. take a dump 上大號 A: Would you mind closing the door? I'm trying to take a dump here. B: Well, learn to lock the door next time. 「我要上廁所」(大小號都一樣) 可以說 "I need to use the restroom." 或簡單地說 "I need to go."。
A: Hey! The volume is too low. Why don't you crank it up some? A: 嘿! B: No problem.
如: "Why are you so cranky today? Something happened?" 11. Shoot! A: I've got a question for you.
B: Shoot! B: 說吧! "Shoot!" Give it a shot! A: It would be so cool if I can win this contest. I don't think I'm good enough, though. A: 要是。
