今年是極不平凡的一年，祖國大事多，喜事多，我市經濟社會建設在廣大老年朋友和全市人民的共同努力下，上半年取得了豐碩成果。今年 月，全市實現地區生產總值22.83億元，同比增長15.0%；實現工業增加值59929萬元，增長35.2%；全社會固定資產投資21.69億元，增長35.4%；社會消費品零售總額7.3億元，增長20.5%；地方財政一般預算收入5803萬元，增長40.0%；城鎮居民可支配收入4706元，增長12.1%；農民期內現金收入1639元，增長10%。同時，民-主法制建設、精神文明建設和社會事業發展都取得了新的進步。

老年大學學校工作總結。
圍繞黨的中心工作需要和老同志求知奉獻需求辦學，一直是我們辦學的指導思想。為此，我們每年都根據縣委、縣政府安排，舉辦1至2期培訓或專題輔導班，對縣直離休、退休、內退老同志及全縣老干部黨支部書記進行集中專題理論輔導，使老同志時刻跟上時代步伐與要求。
我們始終堅持每學期各專業第一課為政治課，均有校長崔茂晨同志主講。他反復向老同志講道，擁護黨的領導，擁護社會主義制度是老同志最起碼的政治素質，更是維護自身切身利益的需要。
我們跟著**工作了一輩子，老了黨給發著養老金，讓我們坐在這冬暖夏涼的教室里上老年大學。如果不是**執政，誰管我們？我們找誰要養老金？前蘇聯**失去政權后很多老紅軍、老將軍沒人問、吃不上飯，不就是活生生的例子嗎？再者，如果沒有社會主義的和諧穩定，最受害的還是我們老年人，因為避亂時無論如何我們也跑不過青年人。
所以，我們老同志一定要自覺維護黨的領導，維護社會主義制度。學員們聽后說，這樣沒有說教的政治課樸實無華，切實有味，聽后身受啟發。
在課程設置方面尊重絕大多數老同志的愿望，適時開設了老同志愿意學、要求學、學而致用的專業。我們在全市老年大學中率先開設微機、詩詞、音樂專業的基礎上，2011年春，又增設了室外舞蹈專業。
從此，老年大學校園內外到處都活躍著老同志矯健的身影，飄飛出悠揚動聽的歌聲。學員不穩定，歷來是影響老年大學教學水平提升的一個重要因素，更是我們注重攻克的一個難點。
為較好地破解這一難題，自年初以來，我們就在找準病根的基礎上，針對性地采取了改進或完善了教學管理服務。首先，我們改進了部分專業的教學方法，針對老年學員接受專業理論較難、比較樂意學習具體的知識技能這一特點，變理論教學、實踐教并重為實踐教學為主、理論教學為輔，深得學員歡迎，使這這些專業的學員由時多時少逐漸增多并穩固下來。
其次，我們采取適合老年人特點的靈活多樣的教學形式，課堂教學與社會實踐相結合，走出去與請進來相結合，收到了很好的效果。我們每年都與老年書協等部門組織書法專業的學員到社會上為群眾寫對聯、寫標語等等，使他們感到學而能用，有一種成就感；組織音樂班學員經常參加全縣性文藝匯演，在社會實踐活動中鍛煉提高；組織詩詞班、美術班學員到縣屬企業、農村參觀學習。
再就是在深化服務方面，我們始終強化這樣一種意識，那就是學員想的，就是我們設身處地為老同志著想，優化學習環境。除為學員配備了空調、引水機、一次性水懷以外，還經常到菏澤、開封等地批發筆墨紙張等學習用品，原價供應學員，費用由學校負擔，深受學員歡迎。
有些學員想購買資料或書籍，零售價無疑要高得多，學校就出面聯系，按批發價訂購，一本訂價100至200元的書，往往幾十元就買下來了，使學員節省了資金。僅此，每年就使學員節省學習費用達萬元左右。
學員入校學習，我們至今從沒收過任何費用，這在全省唯此一家，此外，我們還經常印刷一些學習資料或書籍無償發給學員學習。所以很多老同志由衷地說，上老年大學不花錢，想學啥學啥，買東西不出門還省錢，真是一種享受。
學習不專，見啥學啥，是老同志學習方面的一個普遍弱點。為確保學員們老有所學、學有所成，我們動員每個學員選學1至2 個專業，進行重點鉆研突破。
經過幾年的努力，現在，學員都基本學有所長。教學管理服務及業務水平明顯提升。
說到教學業務及學員技藝提高快方面，全校師生感受最深。剛開班時，美術班、書法班學員作業往墻上一掛，絕大部分充其量小學生涂鴉水平。
經過五年刻苦努力，時至今日，再看學員所展示的作品，可以說象進了藝術殿堂，件件都是精品。師生中有兩人被吸收為中國書法家協會會員和中國美術家協會會員。
僅2011年，就有35人被吸收為中國老年書畫研究會會員，成為全省各縣區老年大學中入會人數最多的。以詩詞專業班學員為骨干力量成立的金秋詩社至今年底，已累計編輯出版《金秋計刊》20期，選載詩詞960余首。
其中，被市級以上報刊選用120余首。全年累計組織師生參加縣以上書畫展1000多人次，先后獲得市以上各種獎勵600余人次，作品入選縣以上各級書畫集300余幅。
其中，在中國老年書畫研究會舉辦的慶祝中華人民共和國成立60周年書畫大賽中，全省入選獲獎者僅37人，而我縣老年大學學員就占6人。這是對老同志學習成果的集中展示，更是老同志晚年生活豐富多彩的真實寫照。
