例如，我們的校園內、樓梯上總能見到與我們美麗的校園極不和諧的白色垃圾，尤其星期六、星期日教室里、校園內垃圾隨處可見，甚至有的同學認為，反正有值日的同學打掃，扔了又何妨；再例如可見在教室走廊上的起哄大鬧，走路推推搡搡，隨意撞壞門窗，也不覺心疼；再例如校園內部分同學之間相互的講臟話、粗話，隨意攀爬學校墻頭、國旗圍欄和車棚圍欄，甚至還有個別同學故意損壞學校公共財物。我們很多同學把文化知識的學習放在首位而常常忽略了社會公德、文明習慣的養成，而這恰恰從本質上體現一個人的思想品質。
事實上，良好的行為習慣是保證我們良好學習的前提，也是樹立健康人格的基礎。在學校沒有良好的行為習慣的同學就目無紀律，不講衛生，擾亂整個學校的學習環境。
相反，如果我們養成了文明的行為習慣，學習環境就是良好的、有序的。我們知道：一個學校的學生具有良好的文明行為習慣，才能構建出優良的學習環境，創造出優良的學習成績。
現在，我們正處于人生中最關鍵的探索時期，在這個時期的所作所為，將潛移默化的影響到我們自身的心理素質，而文明的行為就在幫助我們提高自身的心理素質，同時也完善了自身的道德品質，如果我們不在此時，抓好自身的道德素質建設，那我們縱然擁有了豐富的科學文化知識，于人于己于社會又有何用呢，所以，我們應該先成人，后成材，不要做一部單純掌握一些知識技能的機器，而要成為一個身心和諧發展的人。文明就是我們素質的前沿，擁有文明，那我們就擁有了世界上最為寶貴的精神財富。
