值得一提的是，《憨豆特工2》把國際政治也納入了惡搞的范圍里，也使影片帶有了更多的東方色彩（在香港取景甚多），英格利施的終極任務，居然是阻止刺殺中國總理的陰謀——片中有一位亞裔演員飾演中國總理，可惜連國語都說不利落，而此片的香港譯名，也是令國人會心一笑的《救國大業》。
令人遺憾的是，艾金森在此片中似乎找不到黃金時期的狀態了，其表演重復甚多，笑料包袱不夠令人盡興，是不是還沒完全走出抑郁癥的陰影？
